Various topics from the field of nature conservation were examined from different perspectives. Top-class experts gave lectures on the opportunities and risks of neobiota, wilderness versus cultural landscapes and the meaning of knowledge and emotions in nature conservation. The topics were explored in more depth in a marketplace of contrasts. The symposium was accompanied by professional illustrator Geert Gratama, who captured striking statements in sketches and visualized the messages. Suske consulting was responsible for the content design, organization and implementation of the symposium. The symposium took place in 2017 as part of the exhibition of the same name.
