Strategic support in the context of the REFIT process (2016)

In February 2014, the European Commission published the mandate for a "Fitness Check on EU Nature Legislation (Birds and Habitats Directive)". Against this background WWF Austria aimed to optimally prepare for the discussion on a possible adaptation of the EU nature conservation directives. The aim of this project was to address the questions posed to Austria by the European Commission and to provide accompanying strategic advice in the REFIT process.
