Client: Southern Styria Nature park
The aim of the project is to develop a management plan for the Southern Styria Nature park. This should provide a useful basis for important community approaches to preserving the natural and cultural landscape of the nature park. The goals and measures should focus on the four pillars of the nature park, in particular on the basic pillar of "nature conservation" and the three pillars of regional development, recreation and education.
When developing this management plan, methodical attention is paid to ensuring that expectations, existing experience and existing knowledge are queried and processed in the best possible way. Goals and measures are closely linked to the reality of the nature park region. All research and analyses are focused on the immediate requirements for a good development of the nature park region and are continuously coordinated with the client. The people who live and work in the regions are most affected by the future development of the area. Both their ideas and their identification with the results of this project are essential for further implementation. Their involvement in the direction of the management plan is a basis of the concept. The involvement of the people who work and live in the regions will therefore have a decisive influence on the work process of drawing up the plan.
