The aim of the project "Goals and priorities for action for nature conservation funding (funding) in 2015 - 2020" was to develop quantified objectives for species or habitats in Salzburg whose need for action in terms of nature conservation is particularly urgent and whose conservation status can be easily influenced by rural development measures. In addition, based on the objectives and existing basic work of the state of Salzburg (e.g. management plans, PAFs), concrete, comprehensible action priorities were defined that should support the selection and design of future LE projects (e.g. for the state strategic framework of the LAGs in LEADER, for the selection of investment projects, for focusing public relations work, for prioritizing management measures, etc.). The result of this project was the basis for reports for program evaluations, implementation of the biodiversity strategy, activities in the field of European species protection, implementation and concretization in the area of the PAF and implementation of the government program.
